Short bio

I hold a PhD in Sociology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and I am a Senior Lecturer at the University of Valencia (Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology). My research interests include families, mothering, care policies, and subjectivities.

I have carried out research stays at New York University (USA), the University of York (UK), Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (Germany), Universidad Nacional de Río Negro (Argentina), and USACH (Chile). I am currently undertaking a research visit at UCL’s Social Research Institute.  

I have supervised PhD theses as well as Master’s and Bachelor’s theses.  

I am currently a member of the Valencian Association of Sociology (AVS) and the Spanish Federation of Sociology (FES).
